Top Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in Ecuador: Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the navigation and maps app market in Ecuador showed diverse performance trends among the top five apps on the iOS platform. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps experienced varying levels of downloads and active users, with some generating revenue.

Google Maps saw a steady weekly downloads trend, peaking at 9.9K in late April. Despite fluctuations, active users hovered around 290K, peaking at 309K by the end of June.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a consistent download rate, reaching 1.8K mid-quarter. Active users gradually increased from 66K to about 79K by the end of the quarter.

Google Earth experienced modest downloads, averaging around 600 per week. Active users rose to 4.9K by late April before stabilizing around 4.2K.

MapXplorer: Navigation, Radar showed a varied revenue trend, peaking at $498 weekly. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable peak of 976 in late April, and active users reached 1.5K.

Coordinates – GPS Converter had consistent weekly downloads, with a slight increase to 239 in mid-May. Active users remained stable, averaging around 220.
